Hello! I am Monica DeLaCruz a wife of one, mom of four, educator for 17 years. I'm not going to lie, 2020 was the most challenging year I have ever had in education. When the pandemic hit I was happily teaching prekindergarten to 22 students in a charter school. Like most schools, when we found out we were not going back to in person school, we built the plane while flying it and it was scary, confusing, and incredibly challenging.
The challenge continued right into 2021. The chaos and confusion coupled with the fact that I became seriously interested in the positive impact of outdoor learning environments on young children, prompted me to step way out of my comfort zone and dream about starting my own preschool.
Well, now that dream has become a reality. After one move, four patient kids, about 500 boxes, 30 yards of mulch, the help of numerous amazing friends and coworkers, my extremely talented husband and his family and friends, we are thrilled to announce the opening of Tiny Seeds Nature School.
Introducing: Tiny Seeds Nature School. Tiny Seeds is a home based preschool for children ages 2-5. We focus on outdoor learning. We can't wait to get students!
